Sessions & pricing
Services
Clear, transparent pricing and a practical frame are agreed before we begin. Regular sessions are 50 minutes. The first session is longer, so there is enough time to understand what brings you to therapy, what you need, and whether working together feels like a good fit.
Current availability
- Regular-fee sessions
- Free.
- Reduced-fee / social places
- Full, next availability expected around Sept 26.

Initial session
A longer first session where we map what brings you to therapy, what you are hoping for, and whether the work I offer fits what you need.
Regular psychotherapy
Ongoing individual psychotherapy, usually weekly. The work can be focused and short-term, or longer-term and more open-ended, depending on what we agree to work on.
EMDR
EMDR can be part of ongoing psychotherapy or a focused piece of work when appropriate. We would always discuss whether it fits your situation, history, and whether the timing is right.
Reduced-fee places
I keep a small number of reduced-fee places for people with limited income.
Practical details
- Sessions currently take place online. In-person sessions may be possible only by individual agreement.
- If you need to cancel or move a session, please let me know at least 24 hours in advance. Late cancellations are charged at 80% of the session fee, except in sudden health-related or other unforeseeable situations.
- If you do not join an online session within 10 minutes and have not contacted me, the session is charged in full.
- Before the first session, I ask you to read, complete, and sign the Consent And Therapy Agreement form, which details the legal, ethical, and practical frame of the work. You can download the current versionhere.
When online therapy may not be enough
Online psychotherapy is not always the right setting for acute crisis, immediate risk, active addiction requiring treatment, psychosis, mania, severe destabilisation, or situations where intensive medical, psychiatric, emergency, or in-person support is needed. In immediate danger, please contact local emergency, medical, or crisis services. Where appropriate, we can think together about what kind of ongoing support may fit better, but online psychotherapy cannot replace crisis or emergency care.
I do not provide psychological diagnostics, expert reports, official assessments, or medical/psychiatric treatment.
