A space to be heard
Therapy that meets you
where you are.
Sometimes people come to therapy because something clearly hurts. Sometimes they come because they are tired of translating themselves, holding everything together, or carrying things in the same way for too long. In therapy, we can look at what is happening in your life, relationships, body, history, values, and inner world, without rushing to simplify it.
You do not have to translate yourself into a more acceptable version here. My practice is queer-affirming, neurodiversity-aware, and built with room for identities, bodies, relationships, and ways of being that do not fit neatly into default assumptions.
Warm and honest
I will meet you with care and curiosity, without pretending that acceptance means avoiding difficult things.
Professionally grounded
My work is integrative and informed by psychodynamic thinking, trauma-sensitive practice, EMDR, professional ethics, and ongoing critical learning. I try not to hide behind certainty when people are complicated
Private and boundaried
What you bring is treated with care and confidentiality. I work within a clear ethical frame and with respect for your pace. Therapy can go deeper when there is enough clarity around how we work together.

About me
Hello, I'm Katka
I am a psychologist and a psychotherapist listed in the Register of Psychotherapists of the Slovak Psychotherapeutic Society and holder of the European Certificate of Psychotherapy (ECP), with a Master’s degree in Psychology, long-term psychodynamic psychotherapy training, and EMDR training.
I work with people who want to understand their emotions, relationships, histories, defences, values, embodied experiences, and the patterns that keep showing up in their lives. I bring psychotherapeutic knowledge, structure, and attention to the process, without pretending to know your inner world better than you do. Therapy works best when we take into account all of it.
I also create webinars and psychoeducational sessions for organisations, schools, and teams. My topics often sit where psychology meets contemporary life: attention, AI and digital reality, uncertainty, stress and burnout, body image, identity, relationships, and mental health literacy.
